Beautiful evening with my daughter and husband. We had a casual dinner together and enjoyed attentive service and delicious, gourmet meal without a gourmet meal wait time. We had the short rib, sea bass and the shrimp scampi (sub chicken), and it was all delicious. Don't miss the friend oreos!!

Occasionally, I really wish I could give different ratings for different parts of the experience. This is one of those spots. The NE Heights doesn't have a lot of options when it comes to going out, and Vintage 423 rides those coattails. You don't have to provide high levels of service to continue getting lots of business when you're in the right location. Good for them, I guess. The singular exception to my blanket opinion that the service at Vintage lacks on all levels is the BAR staff. Grade A bartending keeps us coming back to this place. But don't expect anyone to greet you when you walk in or know anything about whether or not they can seat you. Don't expect them to have any answers for you if you call about a reservation. Don't expect your waiter to know anything about the food. Don't expect anyone to refill your water or return with your check. Sit at the bar. Order from the bartender.
