After visiting the New River Gorge Bridge, we were looking for a place to eat that had a beautiful view. We found the Vista Restaurant online. To say it was an amazing experience would be an understatement. The chicken salad was mind blowing. I asked our wonderful waitress, Olivia, to compliment the chef for me, and the chef came out to greet us personally. After chatting with her for a few minutes, she shared some of her versions of my favorite recipes with me, including the chicken salad. Kathy Fout treated me like family and the food was fantastic! It was a 5 hour drive to get there from east Tennessee, but I'd gladly make the drive again just to eat there and visit for awhile.
