I’ve been going to Viva since 2012 when they were in their original location and it’s my favorite Athens restaurant hands down. Gabby is wonderful and everything on the menu is amazing. My favorites are the black bean soup, empanadas, lomo con papas fritas viva style, and the mini cupcakes.Gabby’s cupcakes are the best cupcakes I’ve ever had and everyone else I know who has also tried them agrees. The lemon blueberry and strawberry are superb.

A great little place in the heart of Athens. A hidden gem.And a very good experience trying out Argentinian food. The chicken empanadas are really good with a great salsa verde on the side. The Chimichurri sauce is also very good.The chicken sofrito soup is well spiced with beans and corn.And the cupcakes are to die for!!! Will definitely come back and try other flavors.Recommended.
