Great Mexican food restaurant, which Albany desperately needs more of!! My daughter had the flautas and loved it. The rest of us had various tacos and tamales and really enjoyed them! Everything is made fresh daily. The chips were great, and the salsa was decent. They told us they can make tamales by the dozen to go, just call ahead, which made us very excited! The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the food is very reasonably priced. This is a no frills, authentic Mexican restaurant (just the way I like 'em)! We will definitely be back!

A friend in Albany recommended Viva Cinco De Mayo to us and it was worth the trip! The food was reasonably priced and the portions generous. The food was tasty and they had some unusual items on the menu. Our server clearly had English as a second language (and my Spanish is basically non-existent), so I had to use the internet to try to decipher what some of those unusual items were, which isn't always clear. I took a chance on trying something new and it was even better than expected! My husband got the chicken mole, which was solid. I only wish we could have tried more.
