I was pretty excited to try this place with a decent 4 star rating but sad to say it was pretty disappointing. Got carry out and they were the skimpiest on all ingredients of any carry out I have had. Broth container half full, noodles and fixings half full, I ordered extra veggies and it wasn't even a small handful, they charged me $.75 for a tablespoon of chili oil (honestly probably not even a tablespoon), and the broth was bland.

This place is great! They have many vegetarian and vegan options and they're always extremely nice whenever I go. My friend and I always decide on V Kitchen every single time we meet up. You can't go wrong! It's always so fresh and flavorful.

Probably one of the better restaurants for pho in Ann Arbor area. It's not the best pho I've had here, but it's definitely my go-to because it's at a convenient location. Interior is clean and well-kept. It's about ~$13 for a bowl of pho (a bit on the smaller side, though). My go-to order is "VKitchen Pho" which comes with all the beef they have available, so pretty standard stuff like brisket, rare steak, meatball, tendon, and tripe. I'd say the meat portion is pretty good! Noodles aren't the thin pho noodles you'd typically see at most pho restaurants. They're wider noodles, but I still think they're delicious and soak up the broth well. Most of the time, the broth is a hit. It's a darker color broth that is quite flavorful - a good mix of beef, seasoning, and onion? Not sure, but I like it. I've gotten the pho to-go a lot during COVID. It's not as good as eating in the restaurant for sure, but still a solid choice if you're craving pho during a work day or something and don't have time to dine in.
