Unexpected stop but wow. Never expected to find a great winery and a great brewery all in one location.They have appetizers, pizza or sandwiches.Great variety of both beer and wine. Definitely on my list to visit again.

Ever since moving to So-IL 9mo ago I've been chomping at the bit to explore the wineries and vineyards in the area. So today I decided to take myself solo to Von Jakob Winery & Brewery. I almost missed the turn because the signage isn't very big at all off the main road, but I otherwise found it without much trouble.The grounds are stunning: the patio overlooks the vineyard which is so tranquil and beautiful. The staff at the bar/service station were very nice and all in masks which was good to see in these COVID times. They each had great drinks recommendations and I enjoyed pretty much...
