WALK in Asheville

Went late for grub after a long drive to Asheville. Tempeh has and queso dip were amazing.

I have lived here for 5 years now and I have yet to have a decent experience here. Today was by far the absolute worst from over cooked chicken tenders, a very large piece of plastic in my girlfriends Mac n cheese, cold queso, stale chips, missing food for two people, mediocre service, and rude manager who did the absolute least after these things were brought to her attention. Promise I'm not being too harsh I am fully aware of the current state of the service industry and our servers weren't the worst they were friendly but just eh incompetent for lack of better words. I do not recommend and won't be back. Edit: after speaking with someone about our situation we were comped for our meal and asked to give them a shot again sometime. We did come at shift change and that is a very hectic time for most people restaurants. Love the response I got very much so no excuses we wish this was handled better conversation. With that being said we plan on trying again sometime and will revise this review based on that experience.

Ended up here by pure luck, we were going to Early Girls to try it out but there was a line outside and no parking so we kept driving to look for a place to park and saw WALK, no line, no wait so we went in. Mask mandate in full effect until you sit i guess and no outdoor seating but it's ok, atmosphere inside is nice, good music. I ordered the big simple with poached eggs, bacon, & homefries, AMAZING, sooo good lol. I wish I would've ordered the cheddar grits just to try those too. My husband had the French toast with side of scrambled eggs and bacon, also amazing! Best French toast we've had in a while, the berries were super sweet.
