The rooftop is wonderful! The Iowa State artwork/photos are also stellar.

I thought I'd keep an open mind and try this place. The server was kind of slow. We got a shrimp taco, and we asked if it was spicy and we were told it wasn't. It came to be spicy and barely enough water on the table to flush out the hot of the mouth. Then the wallaby burger was nothing special. What kind of signature burger comes out with no top to the burger?! the mini tacos were smaller than the fried mini tacos from the store 3 of them for $8. What a rip off. The tenderloin was ok. All said and done 2 kids meals with 4 meals it came out to be over $100. So if you wanna waste ur money on microwaved food go here! Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Go to brick city grill, Mexican place next door, or the cafe. Much better options than this place.

My Dad lives within walking distance of the current 4 Somerset Restaurants (The Cafe, Brick City Grill, El Azteca, and Wallaby's).  During our recent trip to Iowa (a week ago), we managed to dine at all of them except El Azteca. Our trip to Wallaby's turned out to be a Saturday afternoon Lunch, upstairs on the semi-outdoor terrace. It was a pleasant early afternoon upstairs, with my only complaint being that my 92 year-old Dad had to walk a lot of stairs to get here, as the restaurant doesn't have an elevator.  Once we got past that inconvenience, service was friendly and efficient, the company (me, Gayle, Scott, and Dad) was excellent, and the food was very good. I remember Scott having a Taco Salad, and me the Turkey Melt, but the only thing I remember past that is that we all enjoyed our meal.
