This is my absolute favorite restaurant in houston. I've been coming here since it opened and everything I've had is delicious. I highly recommend the crispy bottom Bao, shredded chicken, west lake soup, and the sunrise corn! I've recently gotten it by delivery and the food is just as awesome as in the restaurant. Service at the restaurant is good - they tend to give you plenty of time in between checking in on you.

WORTH.THE.DRIVE!! Live in the north burbs so it was a 35 minute hike in traffic to get here. But, I have no regrets as the food was excellent!! Invited to try it by some friends in town. We all know our soap bao so I wasn’t really concerned when they said I needed to try Wanna Bao. Definitely a top dumpling spot in H-town! My surprise was the pickled okra. Never been a fan, but theirs was addictive!! Go with a group and order Chinese style (share Everything!). Nothing was short of great! Vegetable dumplings, soap bao, traditional dumplings, pickled cumcumbers with sweetened stick rice rounded out our meal. Definitely coming back!
