Wasfi's in Houston

We were visiting from California and decided to check this place out on a friends referral. Hostess greeted us and sat us down. Our waiter, however was not efficient in serving us. We asked for water along with our appetizers. He brings out the appetizers but fails to bring the waters and at this point had to remind him of the waters ( restaurant was not busy at all; he was waiting on a few tables). We asked for Tahini sauce for the appetizers and he didn't bring it and we waited about 5 mins before we walked to front of the restaurant and asked for it. Throughout the entire night he never checked in with us, to see if we needed anything or how the service was. At time of paying the bill, we tried to ask for a manager and or supervisor and the older lady that was seating guests stated no one was here.   At check out, the server coped an attitude when paying the bill and stated " I don't want anything extra" ; still did not apologize for how he treated his customers. Valet parking is a must if you are going on a weekend and they expect more than just the normal tip even when the car is nearly two feet away.

To Wasfi Owners/ Review below 0.... i have been loyal and regular customer at wasfi since 2015. been always there everyday, Majdi and the new manager Francois know about me and all the employees. Today 3/23/2019 4 p.m. Mo'tasam the waiter closed my account to leave early. i had to walk and ask who is the next waiter, Salam the girl upfront in the reception yelled at me she dont wanna talk and to shut up. i ask her why you acting like this. she told me to leave the fuck away from this place. i demanded the manager on premise, other waiter and families and people inside got shocked of the scene. i told salam the customer is always right. she replied, she doesn't care and to get out of her face. what kinda of customer service is this in Arabic place like Wasfi, i am half Lebanese half White American. totally got disrespected. i decide to wait for the manager to come, i told him the story. nothing in between me and Salam. never anything except she is a trouble maker and cause problems to all customers. after 20 min, the owner of Wasfi Asad or As'ad came with 5 security g...
