Wendy's in Alcoa

Absolutely the worst drive thru experience 12/9 breakfast around 8:20 am.  Only 3 cars ahead.  2 at the window, one at the kiosk.  Took 40 minutes to make it to the window.  Had a mobile order, never an issue before.  7 minutes waiting at the window after they told me to go up I'm only then told that they can't find my order.  Said I have the app confirmation.  They claimed it was for another store.  I confirm the address listed on the app.  They just said they can't find me and that's that.   Livid, I drove off.  Absolutely unreal.   Short staffed I understand, double wait times maybe, I'm okay with that.  But when you're standing around chatting to coworkers that stumbled in while I was already waiting for 25 minutes (saw them walk in from the other parking lot as what else was I going to do?) and still just not doing anything?  Why even make me wait 7 minutes at the service window?! I put in a carry out order then the doors were locked. I called and the woman who answered was rude and said she'd have to let me talk to the manager-when I didn't ask to. I was just calling to see what I'm supposed to do seeing as how the app let me order carry out. So then she carries the phone back yelling "phone for you" and talking loudly about how she told me the dining room is closed I can't just go through the drive thru apparently blah blah...meanwhile I hadn't had time to say anything other than one sentence! Just tell me to go thru the drive thru! Also, why tf was I allowed to put in a carry out order on the app if the dining room closes at 8?

Burgers were much smaller than I can remember. Definitely not worth $3 for a fast food value that we paid for it. The only reason I am giving a 2 star instead of one, the manager quickly replaced the burgers and cold fries with fresh. My wife and I have loved Wendy's for years bit it seams they are cutting corners now...
