Some of the best food I’ve had anywhere in a long time, great music playing, house wine is very nice, atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, and our server/bartender, Jeff, was absolutely awesome! Will be back to my new favorite place very soon!

Wheelhouse is a BIG step up from the old place - they have great food! The new Wheelhouse seems to be a typical bar as far as the booze goes, no specialty cocktails or anything like that. But they pay a lot of extra attention to their food. I really enjoyed my meal. My Friday clam chowder soup of the day was good. The "ultimate bacon burger" was good. But my mac & cheese (with added bacon & pulled pork) was off the hook GREAT!!! My dessert was awesome too. I went with the chocolate lava cake ala mode. It tasted as good as it looks. The service was excellent. My server was completely 100% on top of everything. The new décor is pretty nice too. Everything is dark wood with corrugated tin accents throughout. It gives the whole place a modern yet rustic look. You get the idea. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again...and again...and again...especially for the mac & cheese.
