The hot beignets are SO good! I came as they were cleaning up for the night so wasn't able to order but they were so kind and gave me an order of fresh, beignets. Kind staff and delicious food!

Overall, I give Where Ya At Matt a total of 3.5 stars.  Their moving food truck came to Ounces in West Seattle one of these past weekdays (about a month ago).  Tip: Definitely check the Facebook schedule or website frequently to find out what date and location they'll be at.  I tried a couple of times but missed them.   When my friend and I did get a chance to eat, we ordered the Oyster poboy sandwich.  Taste wise, it was pretty good for what it was.  The sandwich cost about $16-$17 each, which was a bit pricey for the medium size.  The oysters were small but fresh, with a light breading that made the fry delicate.  As I reflect, the breading was a little chalky (not necessarily in a good or bad way).  It made it a little dry but maybe that's what it was going for considering oyster...

Went to Ridgecrest as we knew Matt's truck would be there. Previous catfish poboy was a bit disappointing but they redeemed themselves tonight. Honey and I had a catfish poboy, muffuletta, red beans and rice, jamba, and a free beignets from finding a baby in my king cake! Poboy was great(coulda been hotter), muffuletta was very tasty, red beans spot on and jamba vibrant with flavor. Had to get out of the car to eat beignets....sooo crunchy and sugary! Miss your brick and mortar, Matt...Bone Marrow!!
