Whiskey Prime Steakhouse in Arlington

Best scallops and steak I've ever had in my life! I've also had their crab before and it was phenomenal! But oh my gosh the Rockefeller Scallops are top tier

We made 5pm dinner reservations and were offered a table by the entrance so we requested to be moved and the hostess graciously obliged. Our server (her name escapes me now) was friendly and courteous. After ordering our cocktails, she took our order. I had the Roasted Winter Squash soup and my husband had the Wedge Salad. The soup was very good, and I would definitely order it again, but the portion size was more a cup placed in a bowl... obviously, I wanted more :) The wedge salad was probably one of the best ones we've had in a long time. They did not skimp on the bacon, bleu cheese, cherry tomatoes, and tobacco onions! For entrees, we had the 18oz Chairman with Truffle Fries and the 26oz Ribeye Hatchet with Tobacco Onions with our side of sauces. Both steaks were perfectly marinated and cooked. The Chairman was served inside a cloche and had just enough smoky flavor. Your entrees come with one side, but each side is good for two. The truffle fries were thin cut, crispy and hot, but did not have enough truffle flavor. The tobacco onions were nice and crisp - I'd order that again! We ordered a side of sauteed mushrooms, but our server must have forgotten because it never came. Overall, service was wonderful and food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

To be fair, after giving Jade Fusion a terrible review because of their recent menu and quality slashing moves in August 2021, we decided to take the plunge and celebrate my wife's birthday at the Whiskey Prime Steakhouse.  Making a reservation was quick and easy on YELP and I got several email and text messages regarding our reservation.  Greeters outside the entrance were friendly and welcoming as was our server.  We had the Caesar salad which was a real hit, ice cold, tasty dressing and awesome presentation.  My wife's seared scallops were as good as Tulios and my Kobe Burger was juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection.  I wasn't a fan of the heavy cheese dosed fries but I will ask for plain fries next visit.  Our server brought out a really nice complimentary chocolatey dessert for my wife's birthday which was a real treat.  What's really nice is that the Steakhouse like the other eateries in the casino will discount your tab accordingly if you have a Players Club card whereas the Mexican restaurant Playa Bonita over in the old buffet restaurant area does not.  Outstanding staff, tasty entrees and impeccable service will have us coming back to the Steakhouse for our weekly Angels gambling fix.  Hopefully the Jade Fusion management and decision makers will understand that the new menu selections and quality isn't working and can learn something about quality from their successful Whiskey Prime Steakhouse business model.
