Decent food. Overpriced for what it is. Not a bad spot if you can’t get a table other places near it. There is also a reason why they have tables open.

This pretty downtown Asian-fusion restaurant has recently become one of my absolute favorites! From the beautiful decor to the superb cuisine, Wild Ginger McKenzie nails it! Upon arriving, we were quickly greeted and escorted through the beautiful bar area and into the trendy high-ceiling dining area. Our table was located along the tall street-side windows with a gorgeous city setting under the Seattle skyline. The ambiance was very modern yet somewhat casual--the perfect place to unwind after a days work at the office. To drink, I ordered The McKenzie. It was much like a Manhattan with an orange twist. Amazing! My date ordered the Cherry Blossom--also phenomenal! Our server, Rien, was helpful, attentive, and professional. He recommended the Seven Season beef, which was extremely delicious and perfect portion for two. The meat was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and greatly complimented our shrimp fried rice side. After a couple drinks and taking in the atmosphere over light dinner conversation, we called it a night. We didn't have to wait long to received our check, was asked "how everything was", and delighted with a warm invite to "please come again". It was a Class A experience that I definitely hope you too will enjoy!
