My husband and I were passing thru Amarillo and decided we wanted steak we ate at the big texas the first time we passed thru so we definitely needed to find somewhere else... I did some googling and found this gem... this place was literally the best steak I've ever had... the crabcakes were the best I've ever had as well..the only thing I didn't like was there were so many flies on the patio but they can't control that so I recommend sitting inside if u get grossed out easily... but I 10/10 recommend...

Devin is an outstanding owner. He is very personable and very helpful. Kayla is very attentive and has a beautiful personality. We love dining there. Probably won't stop as long as they are there. Highly recommended.

Went to X- Steakhouse for our 17 year anniversary and waited forever to get in there to get our table even though we had a reservation witch understandable Saturday night they was buddy. Once we got our table it was so loud we couldn’t even have a conversation without yelling. Waited 45 mins for our food and it was luke warm that’s ok I was just going to muster through it. Took a bite of the lobster tail and it was cold and nasty. We decided to just ask for the check and leave and the owner come over ripped the check out of my wife’s hand very rudely. I told him he didn’t have to be so rude and all he could do was be rude and kick us out like we done something wrong. Even after I asked the waiter that I wanted a new check with the food that I didn’t want a thing for free. At least the waiter was very good I through him a $40 tip as we walked out. Don’t waist your time or money thinking this is a elegant establishment.
