Xalos Mexican Grill is a delicious fast-casual restaurant. It's my boyfriend's favorite place to go, being from California and from a big Mexican family, he is very particular with his flavors. I love big flavor, and fresh simple ingredients. This captures exactly this. I am gluten, dairy, and egg free and being authentic and family run allows for frontline knowledge of ingredients. I was able to order the Vegetarian burrito, Vegan, but with carna asada. Sounds so confusing I know - but it was perfect. Nutritious, full of flavor, so many veggies, with plenty of meat. My BF's dreamy looking burrito was drool worthy. I always imagine what it would be like to take a bite out of it. But my bowl more than made up for it. I know I have a winner when I don't even want to share! Staff was friendly, helpful, and everything was very clean and of course - festive!
