Yo Yo Yogurt On Your Own in Angola

This place has only one good thing going for it - Lake access! After that it's just awful. We went in for shakes. It turns out that they have nothing to do with yogurt, and are simply protein and flavoring. They throw in a little bit of ice and call it a shake. We were told, by a rather nasty employee, that if we had asked they would have made it with yogurt. But this is a frozen yogurt place, and since there is nothing on the sign, shouldn't one expected to be made with yogurt? And I was really clear in asking if what I had ordered had artificial sweetener.  They assured me there wasn't.  Well, it took about five bites for me to realize that there was indeed artificial sweetener.  That was fun - while on vacation.  UGH!  We had already pulled out on the boat or I would have returned to get a refund and give a piece of my mind.  But I don't think they would have cared.   Absolutely will not go back.  Ever.

This is probably my second favorite Frozen Yogurt place in the world. They have a HUGE bonus going for them that no other place does: they have lake access! You can drive your boat up, park it, and walk inside and get dessert. Their flavors are unique. I had a Valencia Orange and a Tahitian Vanilla. My favorite flavor is the cookies and cream though. This is also the only place I will ever get toppings. I love cookie dough. They don't use the little balls of cookie dough that don't always taste or look fresh, they use chunks of cookie dough and I LOVE IT! I go to Yoyo every time I head up to the lake. They have great customer service, a laid back store, excellent seating, and are right next to another restaurant if you need dinner. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're ever in the Lake James/Jimmerson area!

Really good froyo! Pretty expensive tho! 45 cents an ounce! But the deck out back is really nice to boat watch!!
