We ordered take out . The food order was accurate and done quickly. Unfortunately most of the food was not great. The Mongolian beef and king pao chicken seemed flavorless. My husband did not enjoy his fried rice as he said it didn't seem to have much in it. The sweet and sour pork was good and so were the potstickers although the sauce for the potstickers had a vinegar taste which I didn't enjoy. I don't think we will be back.

This place is not yummy. I had a bad craving for Chinese food and been thinking about trying this place for a while. It is directly across the street from Met Market so when I got done shopping, I walked over. The staff there were very nice so the 1 star is for the food. For takeout, I got chicken chow mein, house fried rice, and Mongolian beef. The portions are large so I knew I could eat off of it for a few days. Discolored prices of fatty beef, swimming around in a pool of brown watery sauce that...

If you're looking for a laid back Chinese restaurant eating experience in Northwest, Seattle, then Yummy Café is a good choice. My Asian parents, which includes my very picky mother, actually enjoy coming here. They praise the food as authentic and well cooked. The dining room isn't big, but that means a quieter and nicer dining experience, almost like eating in someone's big living room. Afterwards, my parents enjoy walking across the street to do some extra shopping at Metro Market. Pretty convenient, if you do say so.I saw some low reviews on Yelp for forgotten items in take-out orders. What, and you neve made an error? If you dine in, you can simply ask for anything forgotten, but my family has never had that happen. As of the spring time 2021, in-door dining is back! Take a break from cooking or eating left overs and come in for a fully cooked Chinese restaurant menu.Support local businesses, especially restaurants, during this difficult time for food service industries.BTW, they do free delive...
