Classy taiwanese breakfast place since 1990. Soy milk, fried donut, etc.

Classic definition of don't judge the book by the cover.  It's what's offered inside the restaurant that matters.  My trip from NorCal to eat Taiwanese food didn't go in vain.   I don't normally give reviews.  During Covid time, finding restaurants are difficult unless someone recently went and gave a review.  I felt it is my duty to chip in as well. Food is made fresh, authentic and delicious.  The restaurant is Covid safe, ventilation is good, clean and service is quick and courteous.  I will let the photos do it's talking.

This used to be The Square Dot which had decent Hainan Chicken, now it is Yung Ho Dou Jiang specializing in Chinese Breakfast.  Although it has an extensive menu for lunch, trust me, just spend your money elsewhere, your " taste buds " will thank you. We ordered the cold Soy Milk ( it was free) and it was okay, a bit watered down but still passable. Then we ordered the Beef & Egg Rice, so- so and we should have stopped there...we tried the Shiao Long bao, which was a bad choice since the dumplings had no soup inside, which makes them regular dumplings...apparently the soup leaked out of the frozen reheated dumplings!!! Last dish was Pork Chops and a side of Noodle soup. Yuck!  Dishwater soup is more like it, tasteless.. not even chicken broth...the Pork Chop was thin, crispy, lightly battered ( with what? I don't know...)  , food even your dogs would refuse... blechhh,  not even soy sauce can make it taste better...Rated H,H & T, Horrid, Horrible & Terrible...
