Food was not good. SPICED RED SANGRIA $10 Malbec Blend, Ginger, Spice, Fruit Steep, Mint *spices were overwhelming, I mostly tasted cinnamon/clove and nothing else, would not order this CRISPY PORK BELLY BAO BUNS $12 Braised Pork Belly, Steamed Lotus-Leaf Bun, Pickled Red Onion, Fresh Cilantro, Sweet Soy & Chili Oil *the amount of scallions and raw not pickled red onion (seeing other photos it was definitely raw in comparison) was so intense I couldn't taste anything but that and I find it really odd because these are definitely not reminiscent...

I only have good things to say about Yunnan! One of my favorite dinner dates ever, Yunnan did everything right... from the pleasant service to the peaceful outdoor dining on the lovely streets of Fairfax to the aesthetically pleasing dishes/presentation to the richly flavored food! It felt like the perfect summer night dining at Yunnan, and it was pure bliss the whole time. The bok choy was perfectly tender with a lovely sauce accompanying it. And the various noodle bowls, the absolute stars of Yunnan, were the best my friend and I have ever had. My noodle bowl left me feeling warm, full, and fuzzy inside... the best feeling! It was hearty and beautifully flavored with Chinese spices and pastes. I thoroughly enjoyed every second of my dinner here! Can't wait to come back!

We had such a wonderful dinner at Yunnan By Potomac Noodle House tonight! I highly recommend basically everything, but we got to enjoy the white & red sangria, pork bun, tea egg bun, pork dumplings, kunming douhua, and the baba ofan for dessert (all pictured). Plus, their outdoor dining is dog friendly and AWESOME! Shout-out to Michael our waiter who was phenomenal
