Coffee isn't great. The lighting is very dim and it's very difficult to see the (hidden) drop step from the seating area in the back. This can be very dangerous since it can lead to people falling or spraining their ankles.

I didn't get a coffee here but that's also why I wanted to come leave a review.I had a good experience at Zoka Kirkland and this Zoka location looks so cozy so one day I came over from Capitol Hill to check it out. The interior is indeed pretty cool, lots of people were chatting or working the vibe was convivial.As I waited in line to order, I first heard the barista (who was working alone) hurled a paper cup onto the floor somewhere, then he put a jug on the counter with such force that it made a loud "Dang!" sound. I told myself, "No, I don't come all the way here to get a coffee from this guy", and I left.
