BBQ has a lot of cult followers, who has the best depends on ones personal opinion. So who am I? Why listen to me? DONT ! Because it doesn't matter when you have the best Brisket, pastrami, sausage, pulled pork, sauces, and sides in the freakin US. Buckle up and hold on tight cuz you might fall out of your seat picking up a flintstone size beef rib. That's my opinion and you can put that in your pit and smoke it!

One of the locals Melissa T. recommended us to check out ZZQ for Texas-style BBQ. I heard that once they run out of barbeque meats, they are done for the day. We decided to arrive shortly after they opened. After glancing over the menu, we ordered 1/2 lb of Beef Brisket and 1/2 lb of Pulled Pork Shoulder. It was a good portion for two people. While in line, they gave us a sample of brisket burnt ends. It was crispy, fresh, fatty, juicy, and well-charred. In addition to the BBQ meats, we got Smoked Tomato Green Beans, Pickled Onions, Banana Pudding, fountain sodas, and complimentary white toast. The Smoked Tomato Green Beans reminded me of Greek style green beans. The Banana Pudding consisted of vanilla custard topped with sliced banana, whipped cream, and wafer crumbs. It was smooth, creamy, and rich, and delicious. On each table, there were three types of BBQ sauces - Thick (Sweet to Start, Spicy Finish, and Touch of Chipotle), Thin (Red Pepper Flakes, Vinegary, and Touch of Molasses), and Sassy (Tangy & Vibrant, Mustardy, and Touch of Pineapple). With the barbeque meats, my boyfriend enjoyed the Sassy sauce while I enjoyed the Thick sauce.

Didn't expect it but, ZZQ Texas Craft Barbeque was outstanding. The ambience in this place is so welcoming. I honestly have no words that can possibly describe how great the items that I got were. Crew is very polite and definitely will help you with everything. I will certainly be back.
