This place is cute as hell and I'm so glad I found it. The bartender was delightful and friendly, the pours are generous, the cheese board was surprisingly full for only being $12, and each wine we tried was delicious.

I really liked this wine bar. You can grab wine by the glass or order a bottle. I did a glass of prosecco and a dessert wine and my husband did a glass of riesling and moscato. If you don't like wine, they have beer, cider and nonalcoholic options. The table and bar seats by the windows are very popular but we had no issues finding a small table for two. A visit to 5 Walnut Wine Bar is a must if you are in downtown Asheville.
