I really wanted to like this pub/restaurant. We went in to the Aspen Public House for an early dinner. I understand the staffing issues at the moment, but that had nothing to do with our experience this day. There were plenty of staff on board. We ordered two Diet Cokes and two appetizers. The appetizers came out, but the sodas did not. We had to get the attention of a bus boy to ask for our drinks. About five minutes later, our entrees came out. Not only were we not finished with our appetizers, we hadn't even put a dent in them yet. My wife's hamburger was cold, yet the fries were hot. I had to give the burger to the bartender because our waitress had disappeared completely. Eventually, the burger came back out but it was so well done that it was inedible. Luckily, we still had our appetizers! My wife asked for a refill on the soda, which comes in a small fanvl glass filled to the brim with ice. When the bill came, we were charged $9.00 for three small sodas. The waitress never said refills were not free. It was a very unfortunate and expensive dining experience...one we will not repeat any time soon. I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

The view of the mountains, as you drink your refreshing lagers, is sick. The view of the town square and all the local tree huggers smoking kush and wandering around, as you munch on your somosas and quinoa salad, is sick. The view of the drink and food bill, once it arrives, is also pretty sick. All worth it. All of it.
