Beach N' Brew in Seaside

Came with some friends, we are from out of town. Place looked pretty cool and we thought we'd try it out. It was pouring so we were drenched. Took our order for some food and the lady goes to walk away, turns back around and insisted on having a card on file for our food. She said I quote, "just because I have a feeling it's going to get busy" Yeah right sorry lady we were 3 of the 6 people in this trash hole. By the way, it never got any busier! We asked for our check and card we gave her, she came back with check, NO CARD. She came back picked up check and money, NO CARD. She came back again and gave us change, NO CARD. My husband finally had to walk up directly to bar and wait for her to find it and hand it to him. Seems to me like she was stereotyping us, im sorry not us but my (BLACK) friend and Dominican husband. Hmmm yeah if you read this pass on this bar, there's better bars in seaside with better ranch too

It's a tavern, with several TV screens located around the place. One side of the place has some booths, next to an island of video slot machines. Woo hoo! We went there for dinner, because it seemed to be the closest place to our motel that was open (not counting salt-water taffy, candy, etc., stores) that might have food. We had the halibut sandwiches, which were quite good. Not sure it was fresh and not frozen halibut - but there was two nice chunks of deep fried halibut on the burger buns. A side of tater-tots completed the meal. Nothing special, nothing bad. Decent food in an okay atmosphere. Kind of expensive, but what the heck it is Seaside - a coast tourist town - what else can be expected?

Beach N' Brew was fun!! There is video poker and multiple TVs playing sports. Typical bar food , lots of deep fried options along with burgers and stuff.
