I really love this setup. Great food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, the closeness to the road a little distracting. I'm not a big fan they treat every order as takeaway leading to significant plastic usage.

The food is superb here! The owner, Dan, and his staff are engaging and friendly. This is a restaurant where ANYTHING on the menu is amazingly delicious. One of the best places in Seattle for delicious takeout! We been to Bongos a couple of times and each time for takeout -- all times the food is super good and tasty. We got the West Indies plate and bongo burger. The West Indies plate had juicy chicken, flavourful sides (coleslaw, beans, fried plantain) and the bongo burger was so yummy with the pineapple salsa and caramelized onions. Would highly recommend this place! I've seen their interior and dine in and it is very nice, we will definitely be back!
