This is a cute little place that serves Vietnamese inspired food. The decor is done really nicely done and it gives the feel of an "Asian" inspired restaurant. The food selection is really wide on what you get and can order. They cover other "Asian" countries too. I ordered the Pork Belly Bowl which was "chipotle" style where you choose your base, proteins, and then add ons. The service was a little slow because I think the workers were newer. The bowl was tasty for an asian fusion dish. The dish I ordered had fish sauce I would say it's pretty good, but not super authentic. All in all, a great place for Asian fusion food downtown Boca. Will probably be back to try out some other foods there.

Summer four day work-weeks allow for lunch out with the missus, which still feels fairly new post lockdown. We had an enjoyable lunch at #bonjourvietnam with the gregarious and charming Claire and David. Give those kids a raise! Delicious #summerrolls and #biasaigon beer, followed by a delicious passion fruit ice tea and a ridiculous #vietnamesecoffee made by David. For the record, I really dislike iced coffees, but I loved this one. It's a fairly small restaurant on East Palmetto, not too fancy inside but with really cute decorations that reminded me of my years living in Southeast Asia. We ordered at the counter but they delivered our meal. Claire and David were very helpful and friendly and gave the place a fun vibe. This place tasted like MORE.

Based on the reviews I read, I decided to give this restaurant a try since I am a huge fan of fresh rolls and vermicelli bowls. I thought the food was good but definitely not great. I ordered the tofu lemongrass fresh rolls. I thought they were very well made with lots of fresh ingredients. I think there were supposed to be mushrooms in them but mine did not have any. I also did not taste lemongrass. I was kind of disappointed with the.very small amount of house sauce and peanut sauce I was given with my order. The rolls were huge which I loved but the amount of sauces I was given was barely enough for 2 rolls. I also ordered the chicken egg drop soup. It was definitely homemade which was good but I found it to be a little salty and definitely having too much pepper. I ordered the shrimp vermicelli bowl. I was definitely disappointed in the fact that the shrimp were boiled not grilled. The shrimp had no flavor. Grilling them would have been a big plus. I enjoyed all the fresh ingredients in the bowl and the portion size was good. Again the amount of sauce I was given for the vermicelli bowl was also very small and definitely not enough to really adequately flavor the bowl. If go back to Bonjour Vietnam I would definitely ask for additional sauces for my order. Definitely ask for hot sauce with your order since the sauces they provide are pretty mild tasting.
