Exceptional quality Japanese & Sushi Restaurant! Our server, Olive, provided great service. We also bought 2 dry aged Wagyu Filet Mignon steaks to try on our grill. You know it is authentic Waygu Beef when the certificate of the Waygu is publicly posted! The shrimp from our Our Hibachi steak & shrimp dinner was a very good size & had a nice blackened flavor. Other hibachi dinners we’ve had elsewhere serve teeny tiny shrimp. We highly recommend Bonzai kerrville!

If ur food is cooked at the hibachi by the time everyone gets there food it's cold. 1st everyone gets rice then everyone gets vegetables then your meat. Then you eat just warm food

This was my first time eating here and I so wish I’d had a better experience. The gentleman on the phone seemed nice, but didn’t ask about the type of rice we wanted and just gave us fried; we are used to ordering steamed at other Asian style places. I’ll take the fault here for not remembering myself to specify our rice choice. He did ask about dressing on our salads, so that was nice.We ordered a chicken hibachi, and it was flavorless upon eating except the chicken had some seasoning. The whole thing was oily, a small portion, and lackluster for the price. We also got a bento box, which was better, but not absolutely exciting or anything. Both entrees were to come with soup AND salad but we got one soup and one salad in our to-go bag. I caught the soup and asked for another, which the bartender was annoyed about with me asking. When I later realized we were missing a salad, I was too afraid to ask for it. My husband offered to drive back but I was embarrassed and told him no. The sushi didn’t come with ginger or wasabi, which was strange in my opinion. Every sushi place I’ve ever been they give you fresh soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger. The stuffed jalapeños were amazing. We spent $80. It was BY FAR not worth it at all. I had high expectations with the higher price tag . I will continue to eat twice...
