Bright Angel Restaurant in Grand Canyon Village

Had the absolute worst service here (just about ever).  It was only the two of us and parties of multiple people that were seated way after us were gleefully taking their doggy bags back to their hotels while we were still waiting for our main course.  I suspect the issue was that we like to eat everything together and were waiting on our entree to eat with the appetizer.  Our waitress, evidently, was very perplexed by this practice and was waiting for us to finish the appetizer before she brought the rest of the food.  And we, as you may suspect, were waiting for the food to complement our appetizer... while slowly stewing in a vicious circle of hunger and annoyance.  All this confusion could've been easily dispelled HAD SHE COME TO OUR EFFING TA...

We love The Bright Angel Restaurant & look forward to eating here every time we come back to The Grand Canyon!! The service here has always been amazing. Everyone has been really nice. We have always gotten seated at a reasonable time, although one day we came in the middle of rush hour when there was a huge crowd here from the train so the wait was longer which is expected because they were so busy. They made us feel that they were working on seating us as soon as possible & did the moment a table was available. If you have children they have a nice color/activity sheet for the kids. For breakfast we recommend the Huevos Rancheros, pancakes & Bright Angel breakfast. For lunch either Chili Con Carne or Bacon Cheeseburger (it comes with yummy steak fries), both are delicious! As for soups their Chicken Tortilla soup & French onion soup are good. Appetizer I can't remember the name, it had carnitas on it ( was really good!). For dessert their delicious mouth watering famous house made bread pudding!!! Make sure if it's busy you order the bread pudding the moment you sit down because they run out. It's a secret recipe that has been made by the same baker for over 25years!
