Really good presentation and pies but must have to shop there early for good selection since they were about sold out of everything when we got there...

Pie is delicious on any day of the week, but it tastes even better when you eat it on National Pi Day.  We arrived to the shop around 1pm and this little, tiny pie shop was packed to the gills.  The ladies in the shop kept up with the crowd and the sweet lady at the register met us with smiles. She was prepared with a cheat sheet slip of paper and let me rattle off the first 15 digits of pi in exchange for a FREE small pie. In the honor of the shop's name, I decided to try a buttermilk pie.  While waiting for my pie, I was able to see the girls in the kitchen working quickly to assemble rows of little pies to keep up with the holiday crowd. We pulled up one of the few stools in the window and settled in to eat our pies.  I loved the little wooden forks!  First bite: still warm from the oven!  It was heavenly - so sweet and rich.  The crust was the perfect kinda flaky!  I don't know how to describe a buttermilk pie, but I will tell you that I get why they made it their namesake!  And while this was heavenly, I have been in many other times and have never had a bad pie.  I usually get one of...
