I cannot say enough about Chinese Wok! After hearing it was great, we packed up our 2 young kids and headed across town to give it a shot. it's been a very long time since I've had good American-Chinese food, and this place didn't disappoint. the portions are huge (but who doesn't love leftover Chinese), and incredibly fairly priced. The food comes out quickly, but is fresh. I don't know how they do it! They spice their food fabulously (I don't even mean making it spicy, which was also perfect as they offer hot sauce if you wish to take it up a notch), so the flavor of each dish actually has depth to it. how many times have you gone out for Chinese and found that every single thing you ordered was bland and tasted the same? or your entrees came out absolutely drowning in sauce, leaving them soggy and gross? well you WON'T find that at Chinese Wok! I cannot think of a single improvement I would make to our meal. my son, who is 4 and has a nightly FIT (read: complete meltdown) every night over dinner even gobbled up his food and asked for seconds. unheard of for us! and this place is family owned. the husband and wife duo (who sometimes has the help of their college-aged son when he's in town) is absolutely delightful. they are truly wonderful, hard-working people who deserve any amount of business and support possible. so head on over to Chinese Wok. even if it's a little further than you'd typically travel for dinner, the quality of food and speed at which it comes out will more than make up for extra drive time. and have a conversation with the owners, if you get the chance. they are wonderful people. you'll thank me later. oh, and did I mention they have a drive through? such a great option for those...
