We sat at the pickup window for an unbelievably long time waiting on our milkshakes! We could see inside, and the girl making the milkshakes was ridiculously slow and unmotivated! Sure, SHE wasn't going anywhere so she didn't care, but all of those people in the drive thru line behind me sure wanted their food! Unacceptable behavior from a "Fast" food restaurant employee!

I don't know whether to chock this up to the good old fashioned overhype. Or if it really was just a so-so burger. Probably a combination of both. I have heard about Cook Out for a while. We actually got one in my hometown, but it was pretty far for a fast food burger. So I have not been yet. But when we were on a road trip and one was across the street from where we got gas, I figured it was about time. I don't know what I expected from a fast food burger.
