When I went this place was poppin, so busy and yet they got out orders so quick which I really commend them for. I tried the chicken and waffles, and to my surprise there was corn in the waffles? Which was odd, but not terrible. I was just expecting sweet rather than savory. The chicken was crispy, but a little dry. Their almond joy iced coffee was amazing! I also tried their espresso martini with tequila instead of vodka, and yiiiikes I took two sips but really couldn't drink much more than that because it was so strong. Overall it was okay, but I'd only go back for the coffee.

Grabbed Empire Cafe's Friday special with a few friends. Ordered their fettuccini with shrimp and onions and chipotle cream sauce it comes with garlic bread on the side. The oats itself was good--smooth, creamy texture . Not too many pieces of shrimp though. The garlic bread did not taste good at all. Felt like I was biting into fluffy cardboard.
