Was very good, GREAT staff!

I've seen this place all over my Facebook, and decided to try it for the first time today. The variety of drafts, the unique starters and of course the pizzas gives this place an A+. We tried the Lamb Kabob lettuce wraps and the sweet potatoe pie(which is my new favorite pizza, even over Moose's/Bear's Tooth pizzas). But what really makes me give them a five star review is their staff and customer service. Today I lost a family member and our babysitter cancelled last minute. I was having the worst day, and hadn't been out of the house in a few days, so we decided to just bring our two year old and nine month old out with us. Of course while we were out our two year old started acting like a two year old and we did the best we could to keep her happy. During the middle of our meal a man who was leaving the restaurant rudely came up behind me and told me in my ear "thanks for being loud". This sent my fragile state of mind over the edge and put me in tears, I took the kids to the car and asked my husband to get everything to go. Some angel of a woman at a table near us saw everything that happened and paid our check, and the restaurant managers offered a free dessert and said that man would not be welcome in their establishment anymore. At the end of the day, good people and a good restaurant turned my day around. My husband and I will be sure to come here every chance we get and hopefully some of those times we will have a baby sitter Thank you Hearth Artisan Pizza.
