Not good. Chili in frito pie is most likely from a can. Mac and cheese had nothing special about it at all. Brisket tasted a day or two old. Boudin was the same. I hardly ever leave reviews but was really disappointed after spending around 50$ for some bbq that wasn't even kind of good.

This is one of my a regular places to eat. They do an awesome brisket, sausages and chili. My favorite is the loaded potato with chopped brisket! I like this place because: the staff is super friendly, is in a quiet neighborhood and the food is delicious. Henderson & Kane is not exactly a restaurant but an old fashion style general store and meat market that serves food and have only high quality products from Texas. They have a nice variety of wines (you are welcome to buy a bottle and drink it there while eating) and micro brewery beers available in cans and a good selection of them on draught too.

I absolutely love this neighborhood store. It just takes me back in time! I just love all the local finds you can get there. I love supporting small business and they have so many different choices of unique items. They are a little pricey however I do understand the concept of small businesses. Sometimes they have to charge more but everything I’ve ever gotten there was always worth the extra money. Not to mention they have a really great steak night!
