Probably my family's favorite Orlando restaurant. Definitely our most frequented. We stick to the Cantonese dishes and save room for the market next door. Service is always an issue for us for a variety of reasons. But the food is solid. The ginger scallion fish is my measuring standard. (see Tiff H. review below, my first Yelper friend) The chef even once came out and expressed his appreciation for our business. I think he liked our customer loyalty and my wife's friendly nature. Patience and respect certainly pays.

We've been here a couple of times and the food is okay, nothing special though. The General Tso's chicken is average as is the BBQ pork. The crispy pork was good. The first time we went, service was fine with no problems. This second time we went, the waiter never checked on us once to refill glasses or anything. After we had finished our meal, I waited over 10 minutes for him to bring our bill but he never did so I went up to the register and requested it myself. The restaurant not that busy and had plenty of people helping so I'm not sure what the problem was. We won't be back

Went here with 2 friends around 3pm on a Sunday. My friends ordered shumai pork and shrimp, pork steamed buns, this crispy taro...there was some dim-sum items on the menu that my friends enjoyed. The servers are all friendly and they took there time answering any questions. I enjoyed my Americanized sweet and sour chicken for $11.66. We ordered plenty of food including a milk tea and lemonade, egg drop soup, totaling about $45. They ran out of the fried pork buns which I know are popular so I was a bit disappointed. We definitely will be back though, because Orlando does not have many Chinese restaurants beyond the common American Chinese main entrees. The restaurant has the typical hanging roasted duck and pork. Hong Kong Alleys Kitchen is a good Cantonese restaurant if you live near UCF but do not want to drive all the way to Mills50 area or anywhere further.
