Food is expensive and not particularly good. Had dinner here on a recent weekday evening while visiting Albany after a number of years from living there and my recollection of Ichiban was that it used to be much better than it currently is.

I had the best experience at this restaurant! Delicious food and the most AMAZING server I have ever had. She was friendly, knowledgeable, informed, helpful, and quick/efficient! *Crystal* Ask for her as your server if you go here!! Hands down, recommend! THANK YOU FOR THE FOOD AND THE EXPERIENCE!

Sweet & Sour Chicken tasted burnt, like they hadn't changed the fryer oil in six months. Shrimp in the Lo Mein was mushy. Vegetable Tempura had items I couldn't even identify. Very disappointing for such high prices. $40 for those three items.
