Jamaican Jerk Pit is hands-down my favorite place to get food! I've been coming here about once a week for the past few years and it never disappoints.The food at Jerk Pit is awesome. You can really tell that it's cooked with passion. Many places in Ann Arbor have good-tasting food, but they don't make you feel the way Jerk Pit does after every bite. It's always flavorful and unique. My personal favorite is the jerk pork, and if you get the lunch special, you save a little money too.The owner made it a point to get to know my name over the years and he would say "hi" every time I came in. He and the rest of the staff were always extremely kind and helpful.You really can't beat Jerk Pit. I just moved to Chicago, so sadly I'll only be able to get food from here during holidays and trips home. I'll really miss it.
