Word of mouth is often the best source for finding a go-to restaurant or avoiding a restaurant. My wife and I had heard many positives about Jazzboline, and for a special brunch my wife and I took her mother to Jazzboline: it not only confirmed all the word-of-mouth “definitely go there” comments our friends had made but easily surpassed them: service, ambience, and food. And yes, the price was extremely fair for what we received. I was a chef, and thus I can be somewhat picky about restaurant dining. But Jazzboline kept coming and coming and coming with nary a hitch. First, there was the reservation. We made ours for a Sunday brunch on short notice – the day before – and only two time slots were available. I could only make it for two, but I called the restaurant, and a person named Mark told me that while the only two tables were for two somehow the restaurant would make it happen. 30 minutes later I received a text saying our reservation had been changed to three. Entering the restaurant, we were met by the soft enjoyment of live jazz, an airy dining room with much sunlight, nicely appointed décor, and a server (Jenna) who was nothing less than grac...
