The convenience store café... Oh Joker's Koffee... well let's see. I was really thrown off by their name. This place is a bit pretentious in that their name, Joker's Koffee, signifies coffee shop (think artisanal coffee shop), but feels more like a small 7-11 type convenience store with a more focused approach on coffee (+ seating). I originally wanted to give this place 2 stars, but I just couldn't do it. I mean, the older lady working the register who was also making my latte was really nice and hospitable. I asked for a recommendation and she was keen on helping me out despite her difficulty with English. She recommended that I try the Vietnamese iced coffee. At this moment I had already set my sights on a picture next to the menu of a caramel latte. So I kindly thanked her for her suggestion and asked instead for an order of the caramel latte. Perhaps I should've listened to her because my drink was definitely on the sweeter end of the spectrum. I ordered a medium sized hot caramel latte that I just couldn't finish drinking it due to the sweetness. On...
