The cocktails were great, but the food here was the clear winner. This place has the vibe of your cool grandmas house who loves to cook for you. The space is cozy, but not cramped. They do have a walkup window for food to go.

Cozy speakeasy in Cap Hill. Making a reservation via text was painless. Grabbed two seats at the bar for two and had a memorable night. Ordered two special cocktails and two house cocktails (happened to be the same price as the customs). Don't make the same mistake. Enjoy!

Supporting a minority-, female-, family-owned business WHILE getting drunk and consuming delicious Filipino food? Sign me the eff up. I'm a real sucker for a speakeasy and came here on recommendation from a friend. We rolled in after filling our bellies at Kedai Makan for dinner on a Friday night around 7, and they were miraculously able to seat us despite us not having reservations. I was into the whole "ring-the-doorbell, welcome-to-the-secret-society" aspect of the whole thing. Seating is definitely tight in there, but not uncomfortably so and I feel like that's generally to be expected from a speakeasy type establishment anyways. I did appreciate that it was seating-only service, which always helps with crowding. Our server was super friendly and knowledgable. I ended up going with the Elettaria and my friend had the Seaside Rendezvous. I absolutely loved my drink. I'm a sucker for pisco to begin with, but then add the love of my life, cold brew?! Yes. One million times yes. The flavors worked shockingly well together and blended to create a nice and balanced drink.
