Kriner's Burgers & Pies in Anchorage

This was my wife and Myself’s first time here. We ordered food to go (no issues here, greeted nicely but nobody was wearing masks). We waited for about 20 minutes (the cook Even apologized and was nice) and then about another 5 more with another apology for our shakes. We left, got home, and noticed my order wasn’t right and I did not receive my pie or tots. No biggie so called them and they said they will comp a pie and tots. Eating the burgers was ok until I found a black short and curly hair in my food. Then my wife found one in her burger too. The Shakes were good and the tots were nice but hair in our food is a no go. Excellent place to eat! The burger was amazing. My husband had surgery and had not eaten in two days and they added an extra patty on the burger.they also had very large portions and we were able to split the order. The staff was friendly, the place is clean and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I will plan on returning whe I am in the anchorage area. Retuned after three years still amazing !!...

If you're looking for a great tasting meal then you'll love Kriner's Burgers & Pies. This isn't "fast food". They make your food when you order it. This means it takes longer to cook, but you get food that hasn't sat under a heat lamp for a while. I think this is what makes the food here taste great. They have plenty of options to build your burger and you can add them all for no additional charge. I really like the Tater Tots, but I wish they had Sweet Potato Fries. I also like the verity of Tabasco sauces. If you get Tater Tots then you need to grab a cup of all the Tabasco sauces and find your favorite. A Chicken Burger with Multi Grain Bun is my go-to lunch after my workout.
