Local Foods - Upper Kirby District in Houston

I went here today for the first time.  I can't believe it  because it's less than a mile from my house.  I'd been meaning to go,  but it just hadn't happened.  Now, I'm kicking myself.  It's awesome!   The food is great, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful, the place is  adorable and it was just all around a great experience.  Plus, they  have self-serve fountain drinks!  My friend said she'd looked at the  menu online a few times and thought it was "too fancy for a sandwich"  (she meant the ingredients) and she asked me to report back to her.  I  told her how great it was and that she needed to go ASAP!

This place is really good.  It's a great crowd pleaser  because there is something for everyone.  The portions are decent sized,  not small, not large, probably the amount that you're supposed to eat  vs overeating.  The Brussels sprouts are so good, the other veggies I  had were good too.  All of the entree that I've had have been great.  My  friend bought the chocolate pudding and it was good too, and some of my  friends got the lemon olive oil cake and they said it wD awesome.  I  highly recommend this place!
