Loch Bar in Houston

Due to, I had not a first time, horrible and unacceptable experience, this place deserves 2 stars for a great location and hours of operations. First issue they fixed and apologized, so I gave second chance for Loch Bar as a regular customer. I got over charged $36! By Rude bartender-girl. Yes, I had couple drinks so I miswrote total amount, but I HAD WRITTEN CLEAR $7 tips! Not $36!!! First of all, the bartender, she gave me wrong food. I let her know, that I asked for raw oysters not fried. She got SO RUDE!!! She *raised her hand and *yelled that's what I ordered! Is she out of her mind?! Even she didn't understand 10 Raw oysters, and brought 3 fried oysters. She wasn't capable to behave nicely! Nasty attitude! Who the hell is she to treat me this way?! Order was wrong, she could just send my proper order. I wasn't complaining 'bout. Not a big deal. Mistakes happen. All I did is, I let her know 'bout Raw oysters. That's it. After her aggressive behavior I asked check immediately! She Didn't delete wrong order, from my check, AND she on purpose tried to charge me, even I sent it back, right the way. At the end I left her $7! I should not leave anything. Anyway, I mistakenly wrote total wrong numbers. I reached manager Ryan to fix that. He was cooperative. But he didn't fix it. Why he didn't pay attention bartender's rude behavior? I don't come to places to get nasty unprofessional attitude. Zero cu...

There's not a lot of late night restaurants so I love that they close at 2am! The complimentary bread itself gives this place a 10/10. It was TOO good. The shallot butter on top of it was the bombbb I had to ask for a side of it to go. Unfortunately the service was lacking the night I went, my server only came once or twice and I had to ask a different server to take my orders. Also I don't know what it was about the crab Mac and cheese but it didn't really taste that great but I'll give it a 7/10 because that bread was just too good

We heard the Loch Bar was the place to go for crab cake. Prior to hearing this, we were looking at yelp pictures. We thought they were biscuits. We decided to check it out. We sat in front of the TV at the bar. Loch Bar is small so we couldn't figure out where they would stage for live music. It would be a cool place to grab an old fashion drink at night with live music in the background. Anyway, we lucked out with the timing because it was happy hour. We ordered HH pina verde, HH 6 oysters and Maryland crab cake. The oysters were small but the crab cakes were humongous, just chunks of meat. It was expensive but was worth the money.
