After a long day of helping my friend find an outfit for her bridal proposal party, we were hungry and wanted to get something to eat. She said she had already planned on us going to a favorite spot of hers. We arrived at Lopez Mexican Restaurant, and I had no idea what to expect. Coming into the establishment the lighting was dim and dark. I then immediately saw that although it was early afternoon on a Thursday, it was pretty packed. The waiter seated us and took our drink orders and asked if we wanted to order appetizers. He also brought our fresh and hot chips with salsa. After looking over the paper menu (due to Covid) we both decided to order the quesadillas, which my friend recommended, and I'm so glad she did. Being this is my first review on this platform, I'm sorry to inform you I didn't even get a picture. The food was so fresh, so tasteful, so plentiful, I literally forgot to a video or picture of my food. The flower shell was cooked to crispy golden perfection. The fajita meat was so soft and tender that it basically melted in your mouth. Then we asked for a side of their queso to dip our quesadillas. OMG!!!! It was as if my taste buds were on sensor overload. The quesadillas also came with a side of fresh beans and rice, with guacamole and pico. I highly recommend trying the quesadillas. I would recommend Lopez to anyone looking for a tasteful authentic Mexican food and I will definitely be back ag...
