They do what they do very well, at a good price, great service (low turnover in the front of the house), very consistently, and my family eats there once or twice per month. There food is clearly fresh and that makes all the difference in the world. I've only ever had two dishes that they could have improved on out of all the dinners we have had there over the years. One was the ceviche it was great every time but once and I'm assuming it's because they put together before the empanadas and it sat in the citrus too long making the fish slightly rubbery. The other was the chicken empanadas, the filling wasn't juicy, but that may be a stylistic preference, overall still good. Oh and whatever that spicy, flavorful, green sauce that they serve with the bread should be jarred and sold. I pour it all over my entree and would pour it all over things at home too.

There are few restaurants that truly deserve five star ratings, but Manbo's Cafe is one of those places. In my opinion, restaurants that consistently offer great food, variety and outstanding service at a great value deserve recognition. I have dined at Mambo's Cafe for several years, even before they moved to their new Alpharetta location, and they never dissapoint. This restaurant is perfect for any occasion. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu
