I used to rate Matiki as a 5 star. I dont know what happened. But i am going to blame Covid. The meat is not as tender like it used to be. I am not sure but the food containers seem smaller now. The prices has gone up and the sauce seems more watered down then usual.

Love the food! I eat at Matiki's a couple of times a year. When I do food is always fresh and there is a ton of food for leftovers.

Dear Matiki Island Barbeque, First spot of Hawaiian bbq that is so good. Awesome tastes and great sides to come with each combo and big plates. Parking is horrible and location could be better. Small lot with bumps and not easy area to get into or leave. Make sure to come up on grand to make it easier. Atmosphere is good inside. The indoor eating is open once again. About three tables right now. Music playing is awesome actually definitely would recommend this for the music that is playing in here. Tables and chairs are okay not the most comfortable but glad to eat in. Customer service is okay here. The main person who I ordered from when we went wasn't very clear. When I got side of meat charged 7 dollars but the menu said 3 dollars. Most times it's pretty good but this last time didn't go well. Price point is good overall. Each combo and plate offers great amount that will fill up anyone who loves Hawaiian BBQ
