First, the menu is quite small. There are 12 sandwiches to choose from, none of which include beef. But there are several vegetarian and vegan options! Second, the price is a bit steep. Most bahn mi is about $4, but these sandwiches range from $7 to $10. However, the quality is very good. You're paying double and you really get what you pay for. Third, the sandwich is small. It feels smaller than other bahn mi. But the quality and vegetarian options are great. Also, they offer a lettuce wrap if you're trying to avoid gluten or watch your carbs. I give Roostar a 4/5 stars because it's a really solid place. Yes, it's almost double the price, but it's delicious. Roostar is not my default choice for bahn mi, but it's still a good choice.

This is my go to spot for banh mi, so far the best I have had yet! I usually get the chopped ribeye banh mi which is packed with flavor and never a let down. Some of my other favorite are the grilled tofu bahn mi and the vermicelli boxes.

I love Roostar's! I've ordered delivery a few times now and the food has always been delicious. They also deliver super fast and I always love the little personal touches/notes from this small business.
