I have only been to Ruben's 3 times. The first 2 times were excellent.. hot and fresh! Yummy! The last time, tonight, Dec. 20, 2021.. was sadly disappointing. My daughter went in and had to wait while they cooked our food. You would think that'd guarantee hot food, right?! NOPE. We ordered 2 burritos and a torta.. the tortillas were cold like they were right out of the package and never touched a grill to be heated. The fries we got on our torta combo were old and cold like leftovers from lunch! I'll chalk this meal up to a bad night,or somebody filling in for the regular cook, this time, but if it happens again, I won't be back.

Traveling through Albuquerque, New Mexico and boy did I find the spot! Ruben's grill is a top notch establishment, ran by excellent people, serving up great local food. I'm still working on ordering the entire menu, but I can tell you, if you're looking for authentic mexican cuisine, at a downright awesome value you've gotta go support Ruben's. Don't leave the area without trying their salsa
